Gifts They Can Use All Year Round

Want a gift that stays on the bed long after Christmas? A doona cover in their favourite theme makes a great present any time of year:

How to Choose the Right Size

Choose the same size as the doona (duvet) the cover is going on. All Doonara doona cover sets come in six Australian sizes:

  • Cot: 100 x 120cm
  • Single: 140 x 210cm
  • King Single: 160 x 210cm
  • Double: 180 x 210cm
  • Queen: 210 x 210cm
  • King: 240 x 220cm

If you're buying as a surprise, a quick look at the label on their current doona is the easiest way to check.

Polyester or Cotton?

Every design is available in two fabrics. Premium Polyester is soft, lightweight and shows off bright colours beautifully. 100% Cotton is naturally breathable, which many people prefer for warm Australian summer nights.

Order Early for Christmas

Every Doonara doona cover is made to order, and Christmas is a busy time for couriers, so we recommend ordering your Christmas gifts early. Check our shipping policy for current production and delivery times.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in a Doonara doona cover set?

Each set includes a doona cover with a hidden zipper and matching pillowcases: one pillowcase with Cot, Single and King Single sizes, and two with Double, Queen and King sizes.

Is a doona cover the same as a quilt cover or duvet cover?

Yes. In Australia, doona cover, quilt cover and duvet cover all describe the same thing: the removable cover that goes over your doona. Read more in our guide What is a Doona?

Can I personalise a Christmas quilt cover?

Yes. You can add custom text to our personalised Christmas designs, or design your own doona cover using a photo, artwork or name.

Is Christmas bedding a good gift for adults?

Absolutely. Classic designs like fair isle, red Christmas trees and snowflake script look great in adult bedrooms and guest rooms, and they can be brought out every Christmas.
